Edit text blocks

The block consists of 5 elements:

Title and language

HTML

Text

Variables

Configuration

The first three elements can be modified. The HTML element is the most important.
Do not forget to save your changes.

Title and language
The title allows you to assign when and where a text block is used (homepage or confirmation e-mails). It is worth giving a precise and well-defined title to each text block. The title can be changed at any time.
Language must be defined and influences the name of the variables (e.g. männlich/male).

HTML
The contents and properties of the text blocks are defined in the HTML field. Two views are available: the source code of the HTML document and the final view (or preview) of the document.
The symbol A enables switching between views.

The following changes can be done directly in the Preview screen. For more information, refer to "How to: Preview".

Replace existing text

Replace existing formula

Replace pictures (logos, etc.) through B (see above)

Add text at the end of the document

Change the text font and size

Any other changes (other than changing the display/view) are best done in “View source code”.

A click on the red rectangle zooms in the full screen view.

Text
It is important to copy in this section the same contents as what appears in HTML fields, in particular for the text blocks that are intended to be part of e-mail messages. The text contained in the “text field” will be used when the e-mail cannot be displayed in the HTML view (this depends from the e-mail program of your guest).

Variables
All the variables available are described here. Important: A variable always begins and ends with a % symbol. Do not change the variables as this could lead to some malfunctions.

Most variables are self-explanatory. More information on each variable can be found under "How to".

Configuration
This section describes where the text blocks should be used (e-mail and/or homepage).

Follow the link to see which text blocks should be used in the homepage and which ones in the e-mails.
