Offline mode

You can keep on working even if the internet connection is not functionning.
At your first attempt to modify something, you will be asked if you would like to work in off-line mode. If you answer "no", Dormbook will be closed.

The internet connection can also be set offline and online manually. Choose the function under "menu".

As long as you remain in off-line mode, the status page stays red and the user is informed when any change is made (no internet connection available...). The program is slightly slower in off line mode, but you can keep on working.

Bookings done in offline mode are given a booking number preceded by a minus sign (e..g -2). As soon as the internet connection is re-established, the correct booking numbers replace the temporary minus ones.
