A booking consists of the guest, the chosen number of beds, the arrival date, the length of stay, the booking status, the booking channel (how the booking was made) and a list of payments done by the guest.

The supplement rates defined by the hostel (e.g. breakfast, bedding, etc.) can be charged here.

To each bed in a booking can be attributed a gender (female, male, mixed gender, empty), an age group (according to your definition) and a rate (pre-defined or manual).

Distinctive feature:
If a bed is marked empty, it is not taken into account in the statistics as “night” or “arrival” and its price is set to zero.

If a booking is given the status “no show”, all the beds it contains are marked as “empty” and the length of stay is reduced to 1 night. In this way, the remaining data is not lost and can be retrived when/if needed.
